by Greg Walters AI is like Google Maps: The user is the product Humans power the matrix or Soylent Green is People. Google Maps doesn’t work for me; it works for Taco Bell and other chains that pay them. THIS is supports why I've been saying and evangelizing, Ai Anarchy, Now - right now, all the platforms we use do not work for us, the applications churn our data over to the big advertisers - the platforms work for them, and we are the product. When I see and hear "Ai needs to be regulated." or "Ethical Ai with guardrails" I immediately remember the days of an open internet and the time a map would show ALL points of interest for me to sift through - not pre-chewed, bought and paid for chain advertisements. Google Maps doesn’t work for me; it works for Taco Bell and other chains that pay them. This is why we see so much money going into Ai - the ones who create the Matrix manage the matrix - powered but 'copper-tops'.
Humans. This writer gets it.
The big issue is, will Ai serve us, or will we serve the Ai - it has always come down to this, simple, clear and desperate question.👑 Incrementally, we have bent the knee, trading our essence for free maps, free email, and free digital storage, in a zero sum game. The googleVerse won that battle; many more to come. In the end, it will be The End. Childhood's End.
