I've been in the technology realm since 1988. I was there during the great clone wars of the '90's. I witnessed IBM pull out and HP settle in. I dealt with the transformation of Compaq, the growth of Microsoft and the meteoric rise of Windows. I've sold computerized accounting systems(LAN based) against legacy mainframes and mini's applications.
I've knocked on doors in the Michigan snow. I've cold called (phone) with my toes in the sand and face drenched in Southern California sun. Yes, I've lost sales, had toner spill/explode and devices run out of paper in the middle of a demo.
